Tavlı is an Istanbul-based music project created by Emre Tavlı. Alongside his academic career in civil engineering, Tavlı has kept music at the center of his life, blending neo-classical, ambient, cinematic, orchestral, and electronic textures with an emotionally driven approach. Playing guitar since 2004 and performing live since 2006, Emre Tavlı has built experience as a vocalist, guitarist, arranger, producer, and sound engineer. He is also active as the vocalist and guitarist of Yapboz. His background in arranging, recording, mixing, mastering, and sound design forms the creative and technical foundation of Tavlı. Neo-classical and cinematic music have always held a special place in Tavlı’s artistic world. The music that accompanied long study and creative sessions gradually became a source of inspiration, shaped by emotional soundtracks and orchestral storytelling. What first began as personal compositions produced alone in his room slowly evolved into Tavlı as his archive and audience grew. Today, Tavlı continues as an independent artist project focused on emotions, stories, and immersive atmospheres. Believing that music should not be limited to a single genre, Tavlı aims to create a different emotional world with each release, shaped by personal stories, cinematic atmospheres, and new sounds.
