Mahan Farzad

Mahan Farzad is an Iranian music composer and producer born in Rasht, 1995. His compositions often unfold as visual experiences, evoking imagery. He’s a multi-instrumentalist and multi-genre musician: Neoclassical, Minimalism, Ambient, Film Score, New Age, Electronica, Rock, and Iranian. Guitar, Piano and Synthesizer are his main instruments of work. "I try to go beyond the framing of east and west, and try to stay aware, open and curious. Making or listening to music is a journey; it lets you express and it can bring catharsis. It is much deeper than how it's being treated today. In essence, it has nothing to do with business, trends and tiktok videos. " He has two additional personal projects under the names of Mahzad and Manava, and he's previously taken part in four bands by the names of Masiv, Dawnlight, Moonhead and Diyar.
