Graceland

Born in Nice, in the south of France, GRACELAND is the result of the meeting between pianist Selin Atalay and guitarist Anthony Malaussena. It was during lockdown that the two musicians began creating together, working remotely and exchanging musical sketches and compositions. This suspended period became fertile ground for an introspective, sincere and deeply emotional sound. The duo draws its influences from Baroque, Romantic, folk and contemporary music, shaping sensitive and cinematic musical landscapes. Nature, ever-present, has become a major source of inspiration: forests, forgotten paths, shifting light and inhabited silences all nourish their compositions, giving rise to music that is contemplative and melancholic.
