John Lebel

John Lebel is a Montreal-based electronic music producer and DJ specializing in house and deep house. Blending groovy house rhythms, European influences, and subtle R&B textures, he has built a distinctive, soulful club sound over more than a decade in the scene. In 2022, he earned two certifications from Toolroom Academy, receiving mentorship from D. Ramirez and Ben BK. His EP What You Got, released on a Defected Records sub-label, gained international recognition and radio support from Sam Divine, Low Steppa,Mark Knight, Ferreck Dawn, Guz (NL), David Penn, Jen Payne, Majestic, and more. Releases include Good Together, Keep On Walkin’, Deepest of desire, and the What You Got EP. In 2026, he released the EP Mirror on Low Steppa’s label (Defected Records ecosystem), marking a major milestone in his international career. As a performer, Lebel has shared the stage at Montreal’s Newspeak venue with artists such as LF System and J. Worra. His DJ sets and productions reflect a groove-driven, immersive energy built for both streaming and the dance floor.
