Jack Goldstein

Jack Goldstein, once the charismatic frontperson of the unfortunately short-lived psychedelic pop band Fixers, now writes joyful, uncompromising experimental lo-fi pop that sits somewhere in the soundspace of BC Camplight or Animal Collective. His live show, which he completely reinvents for every album, is confrontational, weird and mind-bendingly fun (think Art Brut or Julian Cope). Jack’s fifth solo album, entitled LOVE, THE ANSWER TO THE PROBLEM OF HUMAN EXISTENCE will be released on Beanie Tapes on 12 May 2019. The first track Dungeness is a joyous celebration of life and love; a collage of beats, samples, lo-fi synths and banjo written about a local coastal nature reserve near Goldstein’s new seaside home.
