Ypogeia Revmata

“Ypogeia Revmata” (free translation: “The Undertows”) is among the most prominent and long lasting bands of the Greek rock scene. Having been around for more than 25 years, during which they have been constantly active, they continue to travel through space and time transforming images, thoughts and feelings into words and music. The band was formed in 1992 in Kallithea, Athens. Their first album "O magos koitazei tin poli" was recorded in the fall of 1994 and became an instant classic. Between then and the present day the band has recorded 8 studio albums, 2 live shows recordings and has collaborated with many Greek artists and bands. Over the years the band’s formation has changed a few times and a total of 14 members have participated in the band, all of them being good friends until this day. Today “Ypogeia Revmata” is a trio consisting of Grigoris Klioumis, founding member in the vocals and electric guitar, Nikos Giousef in the bass and musical saw and Tassos Peppas in the drums.
