Recens

Recens is the alias of Finnish DJ and producer Topias Rajala. He started making electronic music at the age of 12, gradually shaping a sound rooted in deep, emotional atmospheres and progressive house. Inspired by raw feeling and the northern landscapes he grew up around, his music balances intimacy, movement and a sense of space. His recent releases include music on Anjunadeep, marking a new chapter in a career that has steadily expanded beyond Finland. Since his first live shows in 2021, Recens has performed everywhere from intimate clubs to major festival stages, with notable appearances supporting and opening for artists including Armin van Buuren, Yotto and Miss Monique. Whether through his productions or DJ sets, Recens focuses on progression, atmosphere and emotion. With a growing international audience and new music on the way, he continues to carve out his own space within the melodic and progressive house scene.
