One of the most exciting names emerging from the new wave of classic Trance, Doppenberg is rapidly establishing himself as a distinctive voice within the genre. The classically trained Dutchman started releasing music in 2017 at a remarkably young age. Since then, his productions have accumulated millions of streams and found their way onto some of the genre’s biggest labels, while consistently earning support from major artists including Armin van Buuren, Tiësto and Hardwell. Inspired by old-school Trance, orchestral composition and cinematic sounds, Doppenberg’s productions feel both nostalgic and fresh. His classical background remains a strong influence on everything he makes, with melody always at the heart of his music. Late 2025 marked the launch of his new alias HEL:BRG, a project that allows him to move freely beyond the boundaries of a single genre. With a fast-growing international following and a sound that continues to evolve, Doppenberg is carving out his own place within the Trance scene, bringing a fresh perspective to the genre while staying true to the elements that have always defined it.
