TEF = Amsterdam based music producer Thomas Jongsma (48). TEF = indierock, grunge and baroque pop but also musical theatre, techno and classical piano music In 2025 seven new songs will be released that deal with the anxiety of growing older in a world falling apart, and finding new love in this world and as always, discovering new music! TEF's previous album "Exit/Enter" (2022) was the classic breakup album and definitely his most emotional and personal album so far. These new songs are an answer to this dark period, and cover new love, new relationships but also new challenges and new personal insights, that this life changing experience brought about. In 2020 TEF released an EP of rock cover tracks "Changes" (not featuring the Bowie song!). TEF also explored his past and released an EP of his own classical piano compositions, "12, 11, 5", just for fun!
Seven years after his rock opera "The Concept" (2012), TEF went back to a more singular songwriting style on his 2019 album "Faith & Superstition" which garnered a lot of praise online and boosted his confidence to further develop his craft and make it a more meaningful part of his life.
TEF was part of several bands in The Netherlands around the turn of the century (Kashmir, VLEEQ, Circus Paranoia), acting as songwriter, lead singer and guitarist.
