Hugo Kafumbi

Hugo Kafumbi born in congo, Lubumbashi, in the Katuba neighborhood. He was introduced to singing in the choir of his local church and that’s when he felt in love with music. At the age of 13 he was adopted to the Czech Republic, where he studied and played football. After some years he was left homeless by his adopted parents so he moved to Vancouver Canada. In his music he shares his life experiences. His music is to uplift those who are down and give them hope. His first album, Katanga allows him to impose himself with songs in English, French and Swahili. When you listen to Hugo Kafumbi, you understand the struggles he has gone through. He is not only a source of inspiration for Africa, but also on the international scene. With hit records in the Czech Republic to being featured on American hip-hop platforms such as “WorldStarHipHop”, “The Source Magazine” etc. Hugo is also an international model who worked with brands like Levi's, Jack & Jones, Tommy Hilfiger, Dior and Tom Tailor . Published in fashion magazines such as Numéro Magazine , Sleek Magazines, Client Magazine, Schön! etc. Hugo Kafumbi is also a culinary arts enthusiast and world traveler. He is multilingual and speaks five languages: English, French, Lingala, Swahili and Czech. He is currently working on his second album to be released this summer.
