Artimus The Poet

Artimus The Poet is the musical world of Susan Manley, a former computer game creator who traded digital adventures for new worlds built from poetry, sound, and imagination. Blending original poetry with an ever-changing palette of musical genres, I let each story find its own voice. From rock and blues to country, electronic, and cinematic soundscapes, the genre is never the destination. The feeling is. Inspired by memories, emotions, lived experiences, truths, and a healthy dose of humor, I build each track into its own world. For me, music is an escape—part atmosphere, part spell, and all heart. Fueled by digital magic, everything is created, shaped, and edited by me in my one-woman studio at home in a rugged little coastal town. My music, photography, and artwork draw from a lifetime of experiences and an enduring fascination with the possibilities of creative technology. Welcome to my living gallery of music, poetry, and art. Pick a track or playlist, follow a mood, and roam with me.
