Baby Volcano

Baby Volcano is a Swiss-Guatemalan artist known for her powerful and avant-garde performances. Trained in contemporary dance and performance in Buenos Aires, she blends hybrid pop, experimental reggaeton, Latin music, and chanson to create a distinctive sound. Her debut EP, Síndrome Premenstrual (2021), introduced her to the Swiss underground scene, marking the start of a rapidly evolving journey. Her upcoming EP, SUPERVIVENXIA (April 2025), reflects her deeply personal and transformative creative process. Describing music as both a refuge and a force, she channels raw energy, vulnerability, and defiance into each track. Over the past two years, Baby Volcano has performed at major festivals across Europe, including Roskilde, Eurockéennes, Paléo Festival, Dour Festival, Eurosonic, Les Vieilles Charrues, and Transmusicales. In 2024, she was invited by Irène Drésel to support her at L'Olympia in Paris. That same year, she made her North American debut at the Montreal Jazz Festival, Festival d'Été de Québec, and La Noce. Often affiliated to artists like Rosalía, Arca, and FKA twigs, Baby Volcano continues to push artistic boundaries, offering a visceral and genre-defying musical experience.
