Alejandro Mosso

Alejandro Mosso is an Argentinian electronic music composer, producer, and live performer as well as a sound installation artist currently based in Berlin. With a discography spanning more than 45 EPs and 8 albums since 2002, Mosso has released music on labels such as Cocoon, Hivern Discs, Third Ear, Sushitech, LYAM, lomidhigh, Satya, and his own mosso imprint. He has collaborated with artists including Ricardo Villalobos, Burnt Friedman, Laurence Guy, Thomas Melchior and Lawrence. With his particular brand of "musical club music", Alejandro has developed a distinctive and immediately recognisable sound palette, balancing electronic and acoustic elements at the intersection of deep house, minimal, tribal, and experimental dance music. Mosso's live show is the centerpiece of his artistic career. As a worldwide touring musician, he has performed across North and South America, Europe, Africa, and Asia, at venues and events including MUTEK, Fabric, Amnesia, Space, Womb, Rex, Watergate, Kater, Hive, Cityfox, Arma 17, Garbicz, Unsound, and Caprices Festival. Committed to the value of live performance in club culture, he co-founded OLA — Only Live Acts, a Berlin collective dedicated exclusively to live electronic music, which has been building a growing community around the format.
