Biography & Metadata

Breakthrough Filipino artist Leyo is making waves in the local music scene as one of the most promising new voices in OPM. His cover of Blue Jeans’ signature hit “Paniwalaan,” recently blew up on TikTok, leading countless users to soundtrack their stories with his soothing and warm rendition. Known for his smooth vocals and acoustic-laced poptunes, Leyo has quickly established himself as an expert storyteller of the Gen Z experience. His original songs “Mirasol” and “Litrato” showcase his more introspective side, revealing lyrical maturity beyond his years. Whether writing about love or mundane things in life, Leyo’s songs resonate with sincerity and soul.   Now signed with Sony Music Entertainment, the promising newcomer marks a turning point in his journey—this time as a professional recording artist. Looking ahead, Leyo is ready to channel his “sweet boy” era, pivoting to an exciting new direction where gentleness and suave take center stage. With plans of releasing abrand-new EP and performing more on different stages and venues, he hopes to create experiences where audiences feel seen, included, and understood.   Despite his growing success, Leyo still sees himself as a student of the craft: always learning, growing, and evolving as an artist. He explains, “I envision becoming one of the artists who help give OPM a new shine and glory, bringing it to more listeners and keeping it alive for the next generation.”
