Biography & Metadata
Ghostly shapes in TV static, euphoria half-remembered, scattered sunlight. Pēlikel is an alt-prog band based in Montreal and composed of brothers Joey and Kevin Semaan, Roy Andraos, Leslie Torck, and Étienne Desruisseaux. Their music blends hushed intimacy with heavier riffs, cinematic textures, and gritty lyricism. Impressions and traces call for evocation, a visceral quality they bring to the stage with visuals projected onto synchronized CRT screens, through a performance both sonically and visually compelling, making the music feel more immediate than ever.
