The Maquettes

Maquette (n.): A creator’s small preliminary model. Incomplete. Unfinished. A work in progress in search of form. An imperfect piece of an evolving whole. The Maquettes are a conceptual indie folk rock project blending introspective lyrics and warm, organic instrumentation with a unique visual identity. The emerging music group gained attention across social media platforms with the release of their debut single "Can You Hear Me" on Sep 19, 2025. The single dropped with a a music video which featured unique stop-motion style animated wooden mannequins. Posts across YouTube, TikTok, Instagram and other social sites have reached over 10M views. "Can You Hear Me" marked The Maquettes' official entry into the music scene, and the momentum has only grown since. Their latest single "Losing Faith" (Jan 2026) is having the strongest opening yet, heralded as “the first hit of the year”.
