Steven Boom

Steven Boom makes emotional pop dance music — melodic and uplifting, built through collaboration to connect beyond the dancefloor. Every record starts with an idea, a melody or emotion, then comes together through his creative direction and close partnership with producer Maarten Vorwerk, joined by selected songwriters, vocalists, and visual and marketing specialists. Steven’s role is to unite those elements and keep the record’s original feeling intact. Growing up in the Netherlands during a key era for European dance music, he started DJ’ing young, moving from school events to clubs and summer seasons abroad — learning firsthand how the right song could unite a crowd. Though his career later took a different path, music never left him. Now he’s back, combining that dancefloor instinct with a deliberate approach to building records and an artist project meant to grow over time.
