✉️Contact: newmanmusics@gmail.com Newman (real name Fredrik Nyman) is a 24-year-old EDM producer of Finnish-Swedish descent, based in Ostrobothnia — a predominantly Swedish-speaking region on Finland’s west coast. Exposed to a wide range of music from the 80s to early 2000s, Newman developed a love for music at an early age. The interest would grow strong during his time in primary school but eventually come to a temporary pause during high school, later getting reignited with his discovery of EDM. In late 2015, Newman became interested in music production, first inspired to make dubstep and electro, but would later pivot towards melodic house genres. Drawing influence from icons such as Swedish House Mafia, Manse and DubVision, he'd spend years crafting his distinct sound that seeks to blend other genres with progressive house. In 2022 Newman would see a breakthrough with the self-released “Home Again” featuring Axel, turning heads in the progressive house community and later getting featured on Airwave Music. 2024 would see Newman expanding his reach through labels such as Jupita Music and FeelQ Recordings. As of 2025, Newman has reached a major milestone by signing “Driveway” (with Arvenius and Bernard Yagee) to Hardwell’s imprint Revealed Radar, also garnering support from Nicky Romero. With momentum on his side, Newman continues pushing boundaries — aiming to shape the future of progressive house one track at a time. This is just the beginning.
