Native Zen

Native Zen is the ambient flute project of Liesbet Leroy , inspired by a deep connection with nature, Indigenous traditions of North America, and the contemplative path of Zen Buddhism. Using a unique collection of handcrafted Native and Ancestral Pueblo-style flutes, Liesbet weaves spacious, intimate soundscapes shaped by breath, presence, and silence. Each recording unfolds from the heart in a single uninterrupted flow, like drawing a Zen Ensō—a spontaneous expression of the present moment. The name and logo unite two timeless symbols: the Zuni Bear, representing strength, healing, and the breath of life, and the Ensō, symbolizing presence, wholeness, and inner freedom. Together, they embody the essence of Native Zen: music that invites you to slow down, breathe, reconnect with nature, and journey inward.
