Kalben

Kalben is celebrating her 10th year in music with her fifth studio album, Kayıp Aşıklar Ülkesi/Land of the Lost Lovers-Poets. This great body of work consists of 13 original songs, all written and composed by the artist herself with creative and progressive production designs. This new album solidifies Kalben’s formation as an ‘ozan’, a unique storyteller through music. Connecting to life by telling stories as the “eye of the beholder” and encapsulating a well-blended love of people from various backgrounds, realities, identities; Kalben also had duets with some of the most prominent artists of her land, such as Nükhet Duru, Mabel Matiz, Erol Evgin and Pinhani. She is the first artist to release an EP with a 12 minute short film, encapsulating all three videos; has become a pioneer again by releasing her first novel along with a 13-original-track soundtrack album, all written and composed by the artist herself, named “Burning Down Of the Old World” in 2022. Touring the world; keeping hopeful for the causes, people, animals and nature she values deeply; spending time with her beloved cats whenever she returns home, Kalben is becoming a mountain herself in the world of music.
