Biography & Metadata

Giovanni Ghioldi is an Italian multi-instrumentalist, author, arranger and producer. After graduating as a singer at the M.A.S, he began his artistic career with a tribute to the Woodstock concert called Woodstock Alive with which as a singer / guitarist he walked many of the most important Italian stages. At the same time he devoted himself to the musical production of many emerging artists such as: Giulia Gregorig, Nicoletta Marquica, Eugenio Noseda, Debora Cesti, Anthony Hed, Luca V, La favola di J, Tuhafeny and many others. Collaborate in studio or live with a lot of italian and international musicians. He teaches at M.A.S Computer Music, Backing Vocals and collaborates for the Live Set lesson. He has further collaborated with M.A.S as a guitarist for Musical Hair, We will rock you and Rent. He arranged the Musical Smack written by Francesco Lori. He collaborated under the musical direction of Davide Magnabosco with Maurizio Colombi for the show Caveman as a guitarist / singer. Currently he is backing vocalist and musical director of Sergio Cortés (official world tribute to Michael Jackson). Together with Elia Micheletto and Gabriele Costa he founded the Moving Forward project, a progressive pop band soon to be released. With his solo project he released an album called Choices with some opened the concerts of Trixie Whitley, Roberto Angelini and Kaki King. He is sponsor of Danelectro Guitars through Gold Music.
