Hypersonics

The Swedish rock/pop duo is back with their fifth single “Changes” which feature Gabriella Jansson on lead vocals. The song is written, recorded and produced by Lars-Olof Jansson & Micael Hamberg. The main theme of the song is built around a haunting synthesizer riff. "That's where it all started", Lars-Olof says. "Once I played that riff, the rest of the song wrote itself, sort of. It's really nice to have a song with two hooks, not just the vocal melody of the chorus." "Yeah, and then I came up with a counter melody on guitar in the instrumental outro which gave the song en extra dimension", Michael adds. "And of course, Gabriellas cool vocal performance was the final touch", he continues. Hypersonics consist of Micael Hamberg (lead guitar, bass and keyboards) and Lars-Olof Jansson (lead vocals, background vocals and keyboards). They're from Uppsala, Sweden and have written songs for a couple of decades, but not dared to release anything before. Now they’re making up for lost time. They work closely together with singers Lina Hamberg, Maria Jansson and Gabriella Jansson. Other persons that has contributed to a couple of songs are cowriter Roland Jansson and singers Rosanna Hamberg and Augusta Hamberg. Hypersonics is all about the songs, the melodies, the harmonies and the lyrics.
