Synth and Sound

Synth and Sound is a music project focused on creating songs across multiple genres, often blending pop, indie pop, rock, and orchestral elements to produce a distinctive and evolving sound. The project explores a wide range of musical ideas, from simple chord progressions and melodic structures to more complex, layered arrangements -always aiming to bring out the best in each song. While Synth and Sound is new, Brian Slater has been creating songs for decades and recently had a renewed passion to turn the musical ideas into published work. By combining different styles and creative approaches with lyricists, songwriters, and vocalists, Synth and Sound seeks to create music that feels fresh, expressive, and adaptable across genres.
