Scattered Purgatory

破地獄一名源自於道教科儀，起初以「東方邪典長音」打開知名度後，於 2015 - 19 年頻繁進行海外巡演，並登上歐洲最大另類音樂節 Le Guess Who。疫情期間進入兩年餘的休團期，後於 2023 年底台北迷幻音樂節宣布復出；承襲以往的黑暗迷幻風格，進化成具有重節奏、電子聲響以及 Dub 元素的音樂組合，並於 2024 年接連受大港開唱、SXSW SYDNEY 及第二屆「聲波薩滿音樂祭」邀請演出。 Scattered Purgatory's name originates from Taoist rituals. Initially gaining recognition with their "Oriental Occult Drone" music, they frequently toured overseas between 2015 and 2019, including a performance at Europe's largest alternative music festival, Le Guess Who. During the pandemic, they announced a hiatus in early 2021, which lasted over two years. They made their comeback at the Taipei Psychedelic Music Festival late last year, evolving their dark psychedelic style into a fusion of heavy rhythms, electronic sounds, and dub elements. In 2024, Scattered Purgatory began preparations for a new album, marking a pivotal moment as they were invited by Taiwan's largest commercial music festival, Megaport. This marked their increasing influence on the domestic music scene, solidifying their status as a pioneering force in Taiwan's avant-garde music landscape.
