Jagte

Hailing from New Zealand and now based in Australia, Jagte is a young artist who breathes new life into the Punjabi music landscape by finding beauty in simplicity. Known for his raw emotional delivery and soul-stirring lyricism, Jagte bridges the gap between traditional heritage and the modern diaspora experience.  He first caught the attention of listeners with the vulnerability of tracks like "Confessions", the evocative "Tarjaan” and “Without you”. His signature style characterized by heartfelt Punjabi poetry paired with atmospheric soundscapes aims to make music that feels both personal and cinematic.  Whether he’s delivering a high-energy anthem or a quiet, introspective ballad like "Chan Mahiya", Jagte remains dedicated to one thing: authentic storytelling that resonates across borders. In 2026 Jagte will change the game, blending his soul-poetry with expanded genres and a focus on real-life experiences/feelings. Jagte, jagg te jaaneya jauga 🧊
