DJ AG9

DJ AG9 is a 13 year old producer from Italy specializing in Funk and Phonk. Blending energetic vibes with modern beats, he is carving out his own path in the music scene. He brings a heavy sound, pure passion, and a huge love for dogs and burritos. He plays the drums and xylophone and is passionate about basketball. Alessio (or Alex) also known as DJ AG9 or Alexx started his career in his bedroom. While taking a study break to scroll through TikTok, he stumbled upon a video by DJ ZK3, opening up a whole new world for him. He began spending all his time in his room creating Phonk/Funk beats and posting them on YouTube—he even went viral! But one day, he met someone who changed his life: Leandro, known as the legendary DJ Leão. From that moment on, he started to improve. Leão taught him music theory, composition, how to create variations, mastering, and more. Thanks to him, he also met other DJs like BaoFx, DJ N3LK0 and DJ VKZ... and that is how DJ AG9 reached this point. Then he met DJ ONG DA ZO (now he’s part of the trio of AG9, LEÃO & ONG) by asking accesories for making covers, he asked to collab someday and he accepted. From then on, they collab everyday. Now he uses programs like fl studio mobile or fl studio pc. His name (DJ AG9) comes from his name (Alessio) and surname (Giambitto) and the 9 is the last digit of the year that his sister was born. He is proud to have his music on Spotify and social media. His dream is to go viral—here’s hoping he makes it one day.
