Marionette Noir

Minneapolis-based independent songwriter and producer Marionette Noir crafts cinematic, mood-driven soundscapes rooted in dark alternative music, contemporary blues, trip-hop, dark Americana, and Southern Gothic. Weaving a sonic lineage inspired by The Cure, Stevie Nicks, Portishead, PJ Harvey, Brandi Carlile, Sarah McLachlan, and Ren, the music delivers an immersive blend of deep blues sensibilities, trip-hop textures, and haunting storytelling for those left standing when the dust settles. Operating with a sharp focus on human authorship, every track serves as a narrative-driven exploration of survival, resilience, and reclaiming the shadows. Step inside the theater; the strings are cut, and the stage belongs to the truth. No fluff. Just raw, fierce artistry. *Produced using a hybrid human/AI workflow, with original lyrics and melodies are written and composed by Marionette Noir.
