Didier Sinclair

Didier began his career in 1982 on major national radio stations like NRJ and Fun Radio, quickly becoming a pioneer of the French electronic music scene. He started DJing in 1987 and was among the first in France to play house music. Originally from the south of France, he moved to Paris in 1991 and began producing in 1998. He gained national recognition through his weekly show on Radio FG — France’s leading electronic music station — and curated the successful “DANCEFLOOR FG” compilations, which sold over a million copies. As A&R of the station from 1998, he played a key role in shaping its sound. His first major success came in 1999 with “Groove 2 Me” (with DJ Chris Pi), followed by the international hit “Lovely Flight” in 2000. Over the years, he released standout tracks and remixes for artists such as Geyster, DJ F.E.X., and Wally Lopez, and launched projects on respected labels like Serial Records and Brique Rouge. Didier also made his mark in clubs, notably with his residency at Paris's The Mix, where he hosted Ministry of Sound nights and curated the club’s official compilation. In 2007, “Feel the Wave” became a chart success, selling over 30,000 singles. His final release, “Do You Speak?”, came out in April 2008. Later that year, Didier Sinclair passed away, leaving behind a legacy that continues to inspire generations of electronic music lovers and producers.
