The Voice In Fashion

The Voice In Fashion formed originally by brothers Sal and David Hanono along with Ony Rodriguez in 1985. The first release "All We Need" a mixture of heavy guitar and electronic synth beats made the rounds on the college radio scene. In 1986 in collaboration with international known producer Lewis Martinee the group hit the # 2 Billboard dance charts with "Only In The Night " The follow up Give Me Your Love provided a top 30 Billboard hit also topping the charts in Brazil and South America.Both these releases have seen multiple remixes by known DJ's around the globe and can be found in numerous compilations released by different labels. A collaboration with the Pet Shop boys resulted in the group contributing background vocals to their single "Domino Dancing" and an invitation to tour Europe with them but regrettably turned down due to previous booked appearances. A tour of Brazil followed with appearances on the top Brazilian TV and Radio shows. During the tour "You Will Smile Again" saw the group's more melodic side topping the charts in Brazil. In 2012 The Voice released The Moment Of Truth a full album and its "Reloaded" version with mixes from various DJ's. EP's s"Bleeding Heart", "Before the Sun" , Y.O.L.O and "Happy Holidays" single have come since showcasing the eclectic range of the group's musical palette. 2020 brings the EP "Stages" which daringly tackles stages of life from Birth to Death. 2024 sees new FreeStyle flavored release Chained .
