Biography & Metadata

Florence Jack is a singer-songwriter and multi-instrumentalist from the North-East of Scotland. Her music ranges from empowering pop songs to acoustic ballads. She writes, records and produces all of her own music and has had a number of her songs played on BBC Introducing, BBC Radio Scotland, BBC ALBA and Amazing Radio UK and US. Her single ‘Such a Shame’ (Remix) was chosen as Track of The Week on BBC Radio Scotland’s Afternoon Show. Florence's growing popularity as a performer is gaining momentum with a supporting slot at King Tut’s Wah Wah Hut in Glasgow, a sell-out show at Aberdeen Music Hall’s Big Sky Studio, a supporting artist for LYRA at The Lemon Tree in Aberdeen and several music festival performances across the UK and Europe including Appfest Gloucestershire and ZugerSeeFest in Switzerland. Florence is a one woman band whose performances pack the punch of a full band. Her stage craft involves moving through multiple instruments including digital piano, electric acoustic guitar and bass guitar, all accompanied by her own self produced backing tracks.
