Clinton Wayne is the first desert artist to receive a major label record deal... Prior To, Wayne was station manager at 107.9fm and worked for def jam street team... He won rap battles from coast to coast going undefeated which got him noteriety. In 2005, Wayne released his "Tsoul Ghetto" mixtape, which Sold Over 200,000 Copies to date, And landed him in The Source Magazine as the "Next To Blow" alongside the late Detroit rapper Proof of D12.  2006 was even a better year For The K.O.D. (King Of The Desert), Wayne received album of the year and new artist of the year for his "Regal Muzik" project. In 2009, Wayne Was Contacted By XXL For consideration On The Freshman class cover... One of the most underrated artist, but fan favorite, the Barstow, CA emcee has experienced his shares of ups and downs in his life long journey to success. His career almost ended before it had begun after receiving a 15 to life jail sentence for drugs and firearms. Once released, Wayne became more focused, but tragedy hit home once again when his Grandmother, the inspiration behind his career unexpectedly passed away. He also lost his son in a car accident and his brother to cancer.  Afterwards, Wayne isolated himself from others and contemplated retiring from the music.
