Buesink

​Born in Curaçao and shaped by a childhood spent traveling the globe including living several years in China with his family, Bastiaan Buesink is a multidisciplinary Dutch artist whose work is a direct reflection of a life lived across different cultures. ​Now based in The Hague in The Netherlands, Buesink began his musical journey at the age of twelve, learning to play the piano and drums before diving into music production. This early foundation led to the formation of The Tailors together with his friend Jesse, an international success story that saw the duo performing House and Minimal Tech around the globe. ​Today, performing and producing under the name Buesink, he has refined a signature sound he calls Global House Music. His productions are a soulful blend of House music often infused with the diverse rhythmic influences and melodies gathered during his travels. As a DJ, he is known for a versatile, uplifting style and an intuitive ability to read a crowd, seamlessly weaving hidden gems into sets designed to keep people moving. ​Buesink’s creative vision extends well beyond the DJ booth. He bridges the gap between sound and sight by also working as a visual artist and video editor.
