Biography & Metadata

Goofy Geese is a Norwegian duo consisting of Mats Jøger and Kaja Malena Håvik. The project took shape during their studies in music therapy at the University of Bergen, where a shared musical chemistr and a deep love for Brazilian bossa nova sparked both a close friendship and a creative partnership. Blending warm harmonies, playful arrangements, and an intuitive approach to songwriting, the duo quickly developed a distinct and recognizable sound. They debuted their first collaborative music in 2022 with the EP Bouquet, which garnered international attention and introduced listeners to their genre-crossing universe. In 2024, Goofy Geese released their debut album Gúfigis, featuring tracks such as “Bam Bam”, “Sensational Bliss”, and “Mother”. Continuing to evolve, Goofy Geese are set to release their second album in June 2026. In the months leading up to the release, they will unveil four singles, offering a glimpse into a new chapter of their musical journey. With a growing audience and an ever-curious approach to sound, the duo continues to explore the intersection of playfulness, intimacy, and musical craftsmanship.
