PJ Vegas is a multi-award-winning singer, songwriter, and actor. The son of Pat Vegas, founder of the legendary Native American rock band Redbone PJ carries forward a powerful cultural legacy while forging his own path across music, film, and storytelling. Born and raised in Los Angeles, PJ is known for his sultry vocals, gritty lyricism, and genre-blending sound that fuses R&B, alternative, and hip-hop. His music explores themes of love, resilience, cultural pride, and social justice. He gained international recognition after winning an MTV Video Music Award (VMA) for Best Video for Good in 2017 for the protest anthem “Stand Up / Stand N Rock #NoDAPL,” created in support of the Standing Rock Sioux Tribe’s fight against the Dakota Access Pipeline.
