Vakabular’s connection with electronic music began on the island of Koh Phangan, Thailand. What started as a first encounter with the local underground scene slowly became a weekly ritual — discovering small parties, counting the days between weekends, and learning how real dancefloor culture works from the inside. Before long, he began playing music for friends, then gradually earned the trust to perform at some of the island’s strongest underground venues. Over time, he reached a point where simply being part of the scene was no longer enough. To fully realize the ideas, experience, and energy he had absorbed over the years, he needed to create his own space. Hollystone became that place — a venue built around sound, atmosphere, and a direct connection with the dancefloor. The creation of Hollystone Records became a natural extension of the same path: a label where Vakabular could experiment freely, release music he truly believed in, and move between Progressive House and Indie Dance without trying to fit someone else’s expectations. The result is a sound shaped week by week on a small island in Thailand, yet heard far beyond it. In recent years, Vakabular’s tracks have collected more than 50 million streams, with many releases finding their place in the charts and on dancefloors around the world.
