Biography & Metadata

Scotland-raised LARSON has been telling stories for as long as he can remember. Raised on everything from Guns N’ Roses and Tina Turner to the pop icons of the 2000s, he later fell in love with the honesty of country artists like Luke Combs and the genre-blurring freedom of MGK. His music moves between pop, Americana, country and pop-rock, but the story always comes first. That approach has begun taking LARSON beyond the Scottish Highlands, with “Dancing With My Heart” played by Alpha Moses at SILO Brooklyn, alongside a growing catalogue and live performances across the UK. 2026’s The History of Us marked the beginning of a new chapter: more organic, autobiographical and increasingly shaped by country sensibilities. “Hung Up” pushes that world further. Written in Scotland and brought to life across three countries with producer Sierd, LARSON later took the record to Los Angeles, recording vocals with Thomas Warren, whose credits include Rihanna, Kendrick Lamar and Sam Smith. Whether autobiographical or fictional, every song has the same purpose: turning life into stories that help LARSON understand himself — and maybe help somebody listening understand themselves too.
