Freemo

22-year-old artist Freemo from Brisbane/Meanjin is working hard to make his first waves in the scene. Inspired most by the laid-back hip hop on projects from the 90's and producers like J Dilla, Freemo looks to bring rap back to its sonic roots. His modern inspirations include acts like Aaron May, the late Mac Miller, and Isaiah Rashad. Currently in the midst of a single run to kickstart his catalogue the self-produced rapper just released 'Soul Focus' with Visceral Sound. With an entire career still ahead of him Freemo is a talent to keep a pulse on. Partway through 2025 Freemo started Zero Alias with fellow Brisbane Artists Visceral Sound, Allira and, PRLR. A movement of artist all breaking onto the scene through community focus and alternative sounds.
