Rafeelya has been on the rise in the worldwide REGGAE scene since the year 1996 and, since moving to the UK from the USA, has moved in high circles in the industry. Backing longtime Ska artist, Alpheus for over 12 years onto being a solo act and singing with UK’s first and only all female reggae band, AKABU, this artist should most certainly be on your radar. Her musical library is comprised of works by top reggae producers and labels like Stingray Records, Mellow Vibes, and Linval Thompson’s label, Thompson Sound and working with massive artists like Lloyd Brown, Blackout JA, and Alpheus. One highlight of her fruitful career is winning Britain’s Got Reggae in 2017 which paved the way to play at Europe’s biggest Reggae Festival, Rototom Sunplash in Spain.
