Big Ox

Omar St. Patrick Pickering, aka Big Ox, has over 20 years of growing involvement in entertainment and the music industry. His entry into the field was internship program on Rocafella’s promotional streetteam. The experience, knowledge, and contacts from that opportunitybegan to mold the stage/TV show host, MC, and entrepreneur we know today. In 2000, he found a home with End of the Weak. He also met his partner in rhyme, Co-Founder of EODUB, Jason “Vice Verses” Williams. they launch their own monthly program called “Diversecity” on Emmy and Hometown Media Award-winning Brooklyn community media network, BRIC TV. The duo simultaneously created The Idea Factory out of the shear consistency of their work in the studio on a daily basis and inviting talent to not only record at the studio but to open the space as a vessel to build, collaborate, and bring ideas to life. Since 2020, Ox executive produced Vice Verses “The Crown”, a posthumous album that includes tracks curated with verses from Vice recorded at the Idea Factory and including close friends of his who were invited to contribute to the project. The first two projects that will come from the Idea Factory Fall 2022 are from Bronx legend Jess Jamez “Jess’s Dead” & Brooklyn native P3NNY Wyze “Time 4 Change"and Ox’s collaborative project, The S.A.I.N.T.S, with St. Thomas along with his Ox’s Solo Project LOL “Love of my Life” to follow.
