"IS:SUE" is a 4-member girl group consisting of RIN/NANO/YUUKI/RINO formed by the finalists of "PRODUCE 101 JAPAN THE GIRLS", the Japanese largest scale audition program ever. The name of the group is a play on words, from the Japanese word "ishu" meaning "a different kind" and the English word "issue," with the group aiming to become "a fascinating and different kind of existence that always captivates people through newsworthiness and topicality (issues)." 2024 June, their debut single “1st IS:SUE” debuted at No.1 on Oricon Weekly Single Ranking (7/1), Billboard JAPAN Top Singles Sales (7/1) and Oricon Weekly Singles Ranking (7/1). With over 1M followers on their socials within 3 months of their debut, they have been chosen as one of the next trending group by GenZ. Not wrong, just different.
