Indee500 is an Indo-American artist from Richmond, California. Songwriting since the age of 14, producing and rapping a few years later, he built a studio in the famous Soundwave (Oakland) in 2003. His studio 317 was next door to Harm From Da Rich and a hallway down from Mac Dre. As an independent artist he worked with all the major bay artists & started his own label Vipped Up Entertainment. His songwriting, delivery & studio skills are well recognized. His collabs like "Hollywood Starz with West Coast legend @GlassesMalone, tracks with Sacramento legend @C-Bo, Oakland star @KeakDaSneak, San Francisco native @Rappin'4-Tay showcase his versatility and relentless work ethic. Hyphy song " Colorblind" is a favorite with @MistahF.A.B. Other features include @Spice1, @B-Legit, @MessyMarv, @KillaTay, @SanQuinn, @Bavgate, @GoldieGold, @HittaSlim. Production is unmatched with producers like Tone Capone (I got 5 on it), One Drop Scott and Traxx FDR. He has also inspired Desi hip hop artist like @HajiSpringer and was on tracks with @Bohemia before Bo dropped his first album. Though not known by the Desi Hip Hop fans, even the proclaimed pioneers of Desi Hip Hop can tell you, Indee500 has been songwriting and rapping on Desi and English tracks since the late 90's. Among the artists, he is known as the original pioneer to do hip hop as an Asian Indian in California.
