Jaron Steele

Born May 9th, 2002, Jaron Steele spent his childhood mesmerized by the music that surrounded him. At thirteen years old, Jaron released Departure, quickly captivating an online audience, propelling his career forward. At fifteen, he released Sonder. MrSuicideSheep featured the track on their YouTube channel, where Jaron’s childhood hero Madeon discovered the track, and played Jaron’s song in DJ sets, helping propel the song to millions of listeners. At seventeen, Jaron released a genre-defining project titled Everything in Between. The 2019 release garnered respect within the electronic music community, with the EP’s lead single Venture arguably creating a new wave of electronic music. In 2020, Jaron released escape, an ambitious departure from the genre that had defined him and a peek into the future. Over the next two years, he undertook his debut album, it's hard to see color [When You're So Impossibly Far Away*], a heartfelt exploration of music that deepened his community. Jaron released his sophomore LP, LIGHTYEARS, in 2024. The project acknowledges that through digital archives, we can communicate with a distant audience of conscious listeners, deep in the future. He wanted to capture his humanity, singing directly to them: “If I’m alive through your perception, keep my soul in your reflection in the light of all connection.”
