Arhetip

Arhetip is a progressive psytrance project originally established by Jovan Nikolic and Milan Djumic from Belgrade, Serbia. These childhood friends embarked on a new musical voyage in 2012, following years of DJ-ing and collaborating on their previous project, Silver Sun. It came as no surprise that shortly after their debut EP release on Synergetic Records in 2012, Arhetip began drawing attention from respected labels such as Tesseract Studio, Iono Music, TechSafari, Digital OM, Yellow Sunshine Explosion, Plusquam, Digital Nature etc. In addition to an extensive catalog of releases and global performances, Arhetip has released two studio albums. The debut album The Absolute, released in late 2015 on TesseracTstudio Records, marked a major milestone. In December 2021, Arhetip joined the Canadian label TechSafari Records, followed by the release of the second studio album Reflection in March 2022. In 2024, Milan Djumic stepped away from the project, and since then, Arhetip has continued as a solo venture led by Jovan Nikolic. Today, Arhetip carries forward the original vision with renewed focus, combining years of production expertise and DJ experience to craft a distinctive and evolving sound.
