Biography & Metadata
Electro Sun is the acclaimed full-on morning psytrance project of Nadav Elkayam from Beer Sheva, southern Israel. Elkayam's first release as Electro Sun was in 2003 with the track "Prophet Vibes". Two years later, he released his first Electro Sun album, "Pure Blue" (2005), on the Israeli label Trancelucent Productions, and again two years later, his second album, "Double Trouble" (2007), on the same label. "Double Trouble" included tracks such as "World Cup", a collaboration with Bizzare Contact that helped bring Electro Sun to a wider audience. The most successful track on the album (and Electro Sun's most successful to date) was his remix of Bizarre Contact's song "Run Away - Electro Sun Remix". Later in 2011, Elkayam released his latest Electro Sun album, "Higher Than Ever", on legendary Israeli label Com.Pact Records, owned by DJ Bog, also known as Visual Paradox. On this album, Elkayam pursued a more mainstream approach to trance than his previous albums. In addition, he has also released tracks in collaboration with Phanatic, Faders and System Nipel, as well as being remixed by psytrance popstars Sesto Sento, who later became Vini Vici, the biggest psytrance act today. Electro Sun's growing popularity increased the demand for his shows and DJ skills, leading him to perform at several Psy-Trance festivals around the world, including Asia, Europe and Latin America, including Brazil.
