Giorgos Stavrianos

George Stavrianos took his PhD of Literature in the Faculty of Literature & Humanities at the University of Nancy II in France & graduated from the Philology Faculty of Philosophy at the University of Athens. Today he is a Lecturer of Culture, Art & Philosophy of Art at the Department of Balkan Studies & at the School of Fine and Applied Arts at the University of Western Macedonia. He continues all the cultural activities developed at his student years both in Greece & abroad. Amounting to hundreds of interviews given to the press, on radio & television & in speeches made through conferences, lectures, conferences, articles & tried to capture the spirit & the contradictions of an era of highly transitional, restless, & key on the future of humanity our time. On state television has edited & presented debate on culture & the problem developed with internationally renowned personalities of culture and art such as Jack Lang, having served for many years minister of culture and education in France, George Babiniotis & other famous personalities. He has published two monographs: "The Dynamics of Civilizations-dialectical approach" (2007), "The new narration of the world" (2011) edited by Ant. Stamoulis, and three novels (Kastaniotis), while his fourth novel is on print and will be released within the next year. In addition to all these activities he has been involved in music composition with a substantial deposit in Greek and international music industry.
