Michael Warren’s journey in country music has been a full-circle one — from his Alabama roots to writing for artists like Toni Braxton and Jennifer Lopez, and back home along the I-65 corridor between Birmingham and Nashville. Known for his soulful blend of country, pop, and R&B, he’s shared stages with Walker Hayes, Gabby Barrett, and Sam Hunt. His breakout EP What’s Country To You celebrates “Southern things – faith, family, friends, football, barbecue, hard work,” earning millions of streams, major playlist placements, and Spotify’s “Artist to Watch” nod. In 2025, as part of the Equal Access program by mtheory, CMT, and CMA, Warren released his second country project "Getting Good at Telling Lies," a raw, honest collection that proves everything really will be okay.
