CUCA TEIXEIRA Know’n as one of the best drummers of Brasil , and always in touch with music ,drums and great musicians since his childhood ,and became a professional musician at the age of fifiteen playing at night life of São Paulo. As a all round drummer Cuca played with brasilians and international artists and musicians. Cuca had the oportunity to play with Michael Brecker, George Benson, Joe lovano, Lee Konitz, Ohad Talmor, Scott Henderson, Frank Gambale wile there where playing in Brasil, among many Brazilian artists, he plays with 3 lady singers Marina Lima, Paula Lima and Maria Rita, daughter of the great singer Elis Regina, in Word Tours including the great “Montreux Jazz Festival”, and in his country all of them registraded in DVDS and CDS. A icon of brasilian instrumental music he developed and participated of important projects such as “Mr.Motaba”, “UmdoisTrio” and “Neural Code” featuring the great bass player Thiago Espirito Santo and world know’n guitar player Kiko Loureiro. Cuca uses Gretsch Drums, Domene Cymbals, Evans Drum Heads, Promark Drumsticks.
