http://www.1rayvon.com Barbados born, Brooklyn-raised Rayvon was dubbed the “a reggae Usher” by legendary James Brown & has shared the stage with icons; The Rolling Stones & Michael Jackson Rayvon’s third album featured tracks from Jah Snowcone, Sean Paul, & Vybz Kartel His single “Back It Up” garnered a International Association of Independent Recording Artists (IAIRA) award & ranked in at No. 1 on Indie-Music.com’s top 25 for 2011. The second single “One N Only” is swiftly giving chase at No. 2 Rayvon is best known for his work with Shaggy. The two began collaborating on a sting of tunes in the 90’s with “Big Up” Rayvon solo release of hip-hop reggae classic “No Guns, No Murder” (produced by Funkmaster Flex) on VP Records. The track hit a trifecta on Billboard, ranked simultaneously on: Hot 100, Rap Singles & R&B/ Hip-Hop Songs charts. The follow up “Pretty (Before I go To Bed)” quickly hit the Billboard’s Rap Singles chart In 1995 they recorded the island-tinged duet “In The Summertime” on Shaggy’s album Boombastic, which reached No. 3 on Billboard’s Hot 100 and No. 5 in the UK, also featured in various major motion pictures & TV series. Rayvon 's hit “Bashment Party” Billboard’s Rap Singles chart In 2001 Rayvon & Shaggy released “Angel” a 6x Platinum seller on Hotshot, topped Billboard’s Hot 100 & won a American Music Award.
