Gataka

Gataka is Matan Kadosh, a psychedelic trance artist from Afula, northern Israel, who is considered one of the most influential and active electronic music producers on planet Earth today. As Gataka, Matan has five studio albums, four of which were released by Phonokol Records: "Drop The Mask" in 2003; "Home Made Madness" in 2004; "In Trance We Trust" in 2005; and "Gataka - Bless The Mess" in 2007; and his latest album "Music Is My Blood" was released in 2010 by Noga Records. Since his first album, Matan has consolidated his Gataka project, playing on several continents around the world, doing major tours in countries such as Australia, Austria, Argentina, Brazil, Belgium, Japan, Russia, Thailand and USA, always bringing his unique and powerful style of funky psytrance, emanating good vibes... ; )~ Gataka was one of the leading artists of the golden era of full-on psytrance. He started playing trance when he was just 15 years old and quickly gained notoriety, gaining immense experience as a music producer after joining other projects such as the legendary trio Sesto Sento, alongside Itai Spector and Aviram Saharai, and, currently, the renowned duo Vini Vici, alongside his eternal friend and partner Aviram. As Vini Vici, Matan Kadosh has surpassed all boundaries of psytrance to become one of the biggest names in electronic music today, reaching the Top 20 of the renowned DJ Mag.
