Biography & Metadata

UNDER NIGHT IN-BIRTH II Sys:Celes, the latest in the series with music by Raito, is now available. PlayStation5 PlayStation4 Nintendo Switch Steam Check it out! Search for "UNI2" Raito is a Japanese composer and producer. Influenced by his machine-loving father, he bought an 8-bit computer when he was in elementary school. He played with programming sounds and modifying games. Started a doujinshi circle "NEXT" with friends he met at university. At first, he wrote coterie magazines, but when a programmer joined the group, he started creating games. The first game, a side-scrolling STG "Wizards Star," was sold in Tokyo, and this game caught the attention of the staff of the dojin circle Watanabe Seisakusho (now French-Bread), and they began interacting with each other. Raito then became in charge of music for French-Bread, and wrote music for "Melty Blood," "Ragnarok Battle Offline," and other titles. His activities gradually expanded to include character songs for the anime "Lucky Star," drama music, and commercial music.
